Elusive Soul

A simple case of pareidolia, or maybe more. I taped two chisel-nibbed pens together and marked out some wavy lines. After commencing the addition of shapes and ‘Adams-glyph’ to the piece, I began to see the suggestions of a face in side-view which I drew in outline form. The remainder of this was completed with my usual zentangles and selective colouring in turquoise. Elusive Soul? Like many titles in my works, I like to raise questions. Appropriate ones might be: how do we define soul? Does a literal soul exist? If so, where does it reside and is it immortal? Do non-human animals have souls? The guy in my picture is obviously perplexed by these questions.
